Our Story
Cheyenne Mountain Presbyterian Church (CMPC) began in 1996 as a daughter church of Village Seven Presbyterian(PCA). Over the years God blessed our church, adding new families and raising up additional leaders. We look forward to God’s continued work in and through our church, growing together in grit and grace, to love and serve southwestern Colorado Springs.
Our Beliefs
We are a church of grit, and part of that grit is holding onto the history witness of the church in different contexts throughout the ages. In dialogue with the church in all times and places, we embrace the historic Christian faith expressed in the ecumenical creeds (e.g., the Apostles and Nicene Creeds).
We are also committed to the theological heritage of the Protestant Reformation as a member church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a denomination grounded in the historic reformation theology of the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms. Additionally, we often use the Heidelberg Catechism.
