Welcome
Welcome to Cheyenne Mountain Presbyterian Church! We’re so glad you found us. We are regular people who have become family through the good news of Jesus Christ.
How we Worship
We know that coming to a new church can be a little intimidating. So we want to make your first time at CMPC enjoyable! Every Sunday we are called together to worship, sing, confess our faith and our sins, hear the reading of scripture and the sermon, pray together, and we are sent out in peace to love the Lord and our neighbors.
-
Call to Worship
The burning bush compelled Moses to come and know and be known by the living God who is a consuming fire.
-
Singing
David as a shepherd and king composed and sang songs as worship and lament and a window into heart toward God.
-
Confession of Faith
An anchor is an ancient symbol for Christian hope. The Confession of Faith is a synopsis of the hope of the gospel, an anchor for the soul.
-
Confession & Assurance of Pardon
Anointing oil is a symbol of being set apart or healing balm. As we confess our sin we are assured of our pardon and are made whole.
-
Tithes & Offering
We are invited to offer up the our first fruits of our labor for the care of the church.
-
Ministry of the Word
Psalm 19 calls the word sweeter than the drop- pings from the honeycomb.
-
Prayers
God holds our tears in a bottle, a metaphor for our concerns, sorrows and prayers.
-
Communion
The chalice and bread are symbols of the body and blood of Christ that we receive monthly during communion.
-
Benediction
The olive branch is a symbol of peace. This is how we are sent out to live and work to God’s praise and glory.
Ministry to Children
At CMPC we strive to partner with you, a child’s parent or guardian, as you guide your child in a deeper faith. We create a safe and fun environment for your children to grow in an authentic faith in Jesus.
Childcare
Nursery services are available during both worship and Sunday School for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old. The safety of your children is our top priority. All of our nursery volunteers have been screened with background checks to make church a fun and safe environment for your kids!
Childcare registration forms may be used for Sunday services as well as Bible studies and any other church event that offers childcare.
Children over 3 years old are encouraged to stay in the sanctuary with their parents. The service is broadcast into the church narthex where seating is available if parents wish to leave the service with their children.
We pray that through our partnership with you, your child can build stronger relationships and develop a deeper faith in God as they walk through their life with Jesus.
Contact the CMPC office for more information about our nursery or Sunday School.

New Members Class
The Explore Class is our answer to the question, “what does it mean to be a member of CMPC?”
Being a member is a mutual commitment between you and CMPC. Our elders and deacons meet regularly for shepherding meetings where we focus on caring for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our members.
If you’re interested in learning more you can email Jessica Jenkins or be on the lookout for an announcement about our next class.
